Couwberghs

Since 1962 Couwberghs has been operating in the field of groundwork. The company was founded by Frans Couwberghs. Main business operations consisted of installing and maintaining ponds. Within a short period of time Couwberghs became a household name in the region for ground and waterworks.

Because Couwberghs had such a large fleet of machinery, it was decided to set up a hire department with a view to reducing the idle time of the machinery to a minimum.

Couwberghs has evolved into a household name in the rental world of excavation and construction machinery.

In 2007 Couwberghs was taken over by Maurits Foets, CEO of Kempens Heftruckbedrijf. By applying a professional vision, much-needed experience in the industry and a desire for professional structures, together with a skilled team he is now working on the solid development of Couwberghs into a competitive company. Since the takeover there have been carefully planned investments in machinery and buildings, preparing Couwberghs for a well-equipped advance into the world of the construction industry.
